Mt Deliverance Worship Center sermon
Typed notes:
A witness of Jesus is called to see and experience the things of God and then testify them before others as a person would witness in the courts. There are no experts. Everyone is called and qualified to be witnesses.
Lord calls the powerless to show them powerful. The father sends who He pleases and He uses people. We can’t expect Him to send angels to do the work He commissioned to us. Jesus said, “As the Father sent me, so I send you.”
An ideal witness is bold declaring the word as John declared about Jesus, but humble, knowing he was unworthy to loose Jesus’ sandals.
We need to tell of the great things God has done in our lives. You will have opposition when you declare God. Don’t be ashamed of the good news or what God has done in your life.
When people tried to make John jealous of his disciples leaving him for Jesus, he was joyful that he must decrease so Christ could increase. An ideal witness surrenders in every way to the will of the Lord.
The woman at the well in Samaria left Jesus’ presence radically changed. He saw the best in her, as He does with all of us. She was the first He introduced Himself as the messiah, not to His disciples. He saw her potential, who she could be as His vessel. God changes our lives, from glory to glory, refined daily as the clay in the Potter’s hands. The more you know Jesus and give and share to others, the more you have. God fixes our problems to touch others around us.
