Mt Deliverance Worship Center sermon.

Typed notes:

God wants us on the offense. Teach your children that they are mighty men and women of valor.

So many times people charge God, “Why did you allow this to happen?” But look at Job who lost everything and did not curse God. He blessed God in trials!

Job 1:22 – “In all this, Job did not sin by charging God with wrong doing.”

Even in Job, the Bible states, “It came to pass.” No matter what trial you face, it will come to pass. Keep on going. Keep on pressing on. Winners don’t quit and quitters don’t win.

We must be careful to give Godly counsel, not like Job’s friends. Do not condemn in another’s weakness.

Job admits weakness and God’s omnipotence and power. He confesses his lack of wisdom compared to God. He repents. Job’s pride brought him close to sin, but he gives a great example of the qualities of a father.

In the last days, people will have a form of godliness, but deny the power of. People deny the power and miracles of Jesus. Christianity is defined by miracles. It is nothing without them. A dead, fake religion.

Our best righteousness stinks to God. We need to trust in His righteousness and not boast in ourselves or harbor pride.
