Mt Deliverance Worship Center sermon.
Typed notes:
Yehovah Nissi – The Lord is our banner. God is the God of battles, the commander-in-chief of all hosts.
God does not expect us to win the battle in our own strength, but to surrender to Him. We must hear what the Spirit is saying to use in order to know the strategy required.
Do not be faint on the edge of battle because the Lord fights for you. The victory is His. We are engaged in battle daily. We must walk in the spirit for we do not wrestle against flesh and blood (Ephesians 6:12).
You never say can God, you say God can!
God wants us to trust Him, have faith in Him, and say “I know God, you can do anything but fail.”
Moses trusted God, but he also had Aaron and Hur to help him hold up his arms. Don’t fear others helping you. Though all glory was still given to God. The rod of God was present and lifted through the whole battle.
Israel defeated their foes with ease when God was with them and blessed them, but they were driven back when God said He wasn’t. We must make sure we walk with God in our battles. The strength of the Lord becomes our strength of life.
If we are a child of God, we are in warfare. We are marked by the enemy. Every spiritually mature Christian is to be actively engage in warfare. We are called to stand against the enemy.
